Client: Anya Authentic Thai Cuisine

Anya Authentic Thai Cuisine wanted content to showcase their cooking and cuisine on social media. The concept was to show the journey of the food from the kitchen to the table.

The Brief

We discussed the client's goals and expectations for the project which set up the guidelines for what was needed.

Highlight Authenticity

As an authentic Thai restaurant, they wanted to showcase dishes that were staples of Thai cuisine. Moreover, they wanted to showcase the rare historic Thai dishes that they proudly served here.

Usable on Social Media

The content has to be usable on Facebook and Instagram which are their main social media platforms.

Concept

Thai cuisine is rich and complex with every dish taking great effort and care before it reaches the table. Observing the kitchen as they prepped, cooked, and served the food gave me the idea to turn what I saw into a visual experience.

Focusing on the journey from the raw ingredients to the finished plate offers a perspective most patrons won't see. Allowing them an insight into the making of the food can and create appreciation for the love and care put into each dish they order.

The Process

Shot List & Filming

Planning out shots and camera angles that showcases the food, using a mood board as inspiration.

Editing

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I brought together footage to tell the journey of the food from the kitchen to the table in the shorts format with music guiding the cuts.

Coloring

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I colored the ungraded S-LOG3 footage captured on the Sony A6400 to bring up the contrast, color, and vibrancy.
